What we are up to

I'm currently doing a project that's based around improving young peoples sexual health and providing easier access to health services.

What i want to do is create two separate booklets, one that's all about Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and the other about contraception and protection.

I also want to create a website with the same information on, so it can be accessed even easier.

When i’ve done all this, i want to go into school assemblies with a presentation, to launch the site and booklets.

Hi everyone, Jenna here...at the minute im looking at youth services/provision in our local area... i'm looking to put together a updated version of the 'what can i do' booklets produced last year, as well as putting together a time table of activities which will appear on this website soon.

I also want to look at what activities young people want to see in the area, and i am putting together (with the help of Nicki) a survey/ questionnaire for young people in the area....so please keep eyes peeled for the link to access this soon via this website. :D

I'm currently doing a project on Domestic Violence. One of the tasks that i am currently doing for this project, is creating a ''youth friendly'' Powerpoint Presentation to teach young people (year 3-6) about domestic violence.

When the Powerpoint presentation is complete, i plan on visiting the Local Primary schools, and presenting it myself, and try and help to teach the young people what Domestic Violence is, and what they should do if it happens in or around their house hold.
